About the Speakers

1) Ms. Stephanie Chan, Director of Asia Bar Review, Asia Pacific

Ms. Chan is the Director of Asia Bar Review. Stephanie received her bachelor degree from the University of Hong Kong and her master degree at the University of Pennsylvania law school. She worked in Shearman Sterling New York and Hong Kong office, specializing in debt capital market work.

2) Ms. Natalia Urrea, International Director of BARBRI, United States

Ms. Natalia Urrea is the International Director of BARBRI, US. She graduated from NYU LLM. She later joined BARBRI and assists legal professionals around the globe with skills and resources and help BARBRI to expand into new markets.

3) Ms. Jacqueline Chan, Partner, Milbank, Singapore

Jacqueline Chan is a partner in the Singapore office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. Jacqueline Chan is a partner in the Singapore office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. Jacqueline is a recommended lawyer in Chambers Asia 2012. She received an LL.B. from the National University of Singapore. Jacqueline advises on a wide range of international corporate finance, and merger-and-acquisition transactions and restructurings. 4) Mr. Paras Lalwani, Associate, K&L Gates LLP

Paras' primary area of practice is in international commercial arbitration and cross-border commercial disputes. He began his career with a top-tier litigation firm in Singapore, where he undertook a broad range of work in the areas of international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation.

Paras has handled several shareholder disputes and claims involving fraud, breach of directors duties and complex commercial disputes. He has also advised several high-profile clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious commercial matters. Whilst at his former firm he represented clients before the Singapore courts, as well as a number of SIAC and ad hoc arbitral tribunals.
